BPS Dynamic (PTY) Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the ClickOps mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect your personal information when you use our application.
By using ClickOps, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide
- Account registration details: username, email address, and password (if registering via email).
- Profile information: display name and avatar preferences.
- Leaderboard entries: username and scores you choose to submit.
- Communications: any messages, feedback, or support requests you send to us.
1.2 Information From Third-Party Authentication
If you register or sign in using Google, Apple, or Facebook, we receive limited information from these providers, which may include your name, email address, and profile identifier. We do not receive or store your passwords from these providers. The information shared depends on your privacy settings with each provider.
When you use Sign in with Apple, you may choose to hide your email address. We respect this choice and will use the relay email address provided by Apple.
1.3 Information Collected Automatically
- Device information: device model, operating system, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and screen resolution.
- Usage data: quiz performance, scores, streaks, accuracy, time spent in the application, features used, screens visited, and session frequency.
- Log data: crash reports, error logs, and performance diagnostics.
- Network information: IP address, connection type (Wi-Fi or mobile data), and general geographic location (country or region level, not precise location).
1.4 Information We Do Not Collect
- We do not collect precise GPS location data.
- We do not access your contacts, photos, camera, microphone, or files.
- We do not collect financial or payment information.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To create and manage your account.
- To provide, maintain, and improve the ClickOps application and its features.
- To track your quiz performance, calculate scores, and display your progress.
- To populate and maintain leaderboards and league standings.
- To send you important notifications related to your account, such as security alerts or changes to our terms.
- To send optional notifications about new features, quiz content, or events (only if you opt in).
- To analyze usage patterns and improve application performance, stability, and user experience.
- To detect, prevent, and address cheating, fraud, abuse, and technical issues.
- To respond to your support requests and communications.
- To comply with legal obligations.
3. Data Storage and Security
3.1 Where We Store Your Data
Your data is stored on Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure, primarily in the US East (N. Virginia) region. User authentication is managed through Amazon Cognito.
3.2 How We Protect Your Data
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including:
- Encryption of data in transit using TLS/SSL.
- Encryption of sensitive data at rest.
- Secure authentication through AWS Cognito with industry-standard protocols.
- Access controls limiting who within our organization can access user data.
- Regular monitoring for security vulnerabilities.
No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
3.3 Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or regulatory purposes.
Anonymized and aggregated data that cannot identify you may be retained indefinitely for analytical and improvement purposes.
4. Information Sharing and Disclosure
4.1 Public Information
Your username, scores, rankings, and league standings are visible to other ClickOps users through leaderboards and league features. Do not use personally identifiable information as your username if you wish to remain anonymous.
4.2 Service Providers
We may share your information with third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf, including:
- Amazon Web Services (AWS): cloud hosting, authentication, and data storage.
- Analytics providers: application performance monitoring and usage analytics.
- Crash reporting services: to identify and resolve technical issues.
These providers are contractually obligated to use your information only for the purposes we specify and to protect it in accordance with applicable laws.
4.3 Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, regulation, legal process, or government request, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
4.4 Business Transfers
If BPS Dynamic (PTY) Ltd is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change through the application or by email.
4.5 No Sale of Personal Data
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes.
5. Your Rights and Choices
5.1 Account Management
- You can update your username, email, and profile information through the application settings.
- You can delete your account by contacting us at support@bpsdynamic.com. Account deletion removes your personal data, profile, and associated scores from our systems within 30 days.
5.2 Notifications
- You can enable or disable push notifications through your device settings.
- You can manage notification preferences within the application under Settings.
5.3 Data Access and Portability
You have the right to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you. To make this request, contact us at support@bpsdynamic.com. We will respond within 30 days.
5.4 Data Correction
You have the right to request correction of any inaccurate personal data we hold about you.
5.5 Data Deletion
You have the right to request deletion of your personal data. Upon receiving a verified request, we will delete your data within 30 days, subject to any legal retention requirements.
5.6 Withdrawal of Consent
Where we process your data based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
6. Children's Privacy
ClickOps is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.

7. Third-Party Services and Links
ClickOps may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not operated by us. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you access through the application.
Third-party authentication providers (Google, Apple, Facebook) have their own privacy policies governing the data they collect and share. Please review their policies:
8. International Data Transfers
Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence, including the United States where our AWS infrastructure is hosted. These countries may have different data protection laws. By using ClickOps, you consent to the transfer of your information to these countries.
We ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable laws.
9. Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) — South Africa
If you are a resident of South Africa, you have rights under the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA), including the right to:
- Be notified that your personal information is being collected and the purpose of collection.
- Request access to your personal information.
- Request correction or deletion of your personal information.
- Object to the processing of your personal information.
- Lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator.

The ClickOps mobile application does not use browser cookies. We may use mobile analytics SDKs and similar technologies to collect usage data as described in Section 1.3. These technologies help us understand how users interact with the application and improve performance.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be effective upon posting within the application or on our website. We will notify you of material changes through the application or by email.
Your continued use of ClickOps after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
